Your Invitation: The First-Ever Children’s General Assembly

We all know that children are the future but how often is this reflected in the decisions our institutions make? If you ask Capital of Children, the answer clearly is, “Not often enough!”

This is why they’re launching the first-ever Children’s General Assembly, a series of debates worldwide to challenge political thinking. Considering that children across the globe will have to live with the decisions made at various international fora, it only makes sense to invite children from all over the globe to participate in an international platform of their own where they can forward their ideas on how we can create the kind of world that they would be proud to inherit. The Children’s General Assembly, hosted by Billund, in Denmark will be held from 19th to 21st September, to mirror the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 76). The outcomes of the children’s plenary will be forwarded to delegates of UNGA 76.

Children aged 10- 17 from all regions, religions and nationalities, are invited to sign up and join the Children’s General Assembly to present and debate their ideas. For more information and to apply visit: https://capitalofchildren.com/children-s-general-assembly/

Application Deadline: 07 April 2021
